Do you have experience working on water/wastewater projects as a project engineer and/or project manager? Then this career-building opportunity is for you! As a water/wastewater engineer, you will direct, develop and market water and wastewater facility projects. Other duties include providing project and task management; conducting complex process engineering for projects and proposals; collecting, assimilating and presenting data; leading the production of design calculations and technical reports; and preparing engineering plans and specifications for the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BS in engineering required; MS in environmental engineering preferred.
  • PE required.
  • 5+ years' experience related to municipal water/ wastewater treatment process planning and design.
  • Knowledge of process engineering for the treatment of organic and inorganic wastewater.
  • Strong oral, written and communication skills.
  • Hydraulic or process modeling software experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating project details.
  • Self motivated with an ability to work both independently and with collaboratively with project teams.
