DescriptionThe Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia (OAG) Human Resources Section seeks highly qualified undergraduate and graduate students to work as human resources staffing interns during the summer and academic year. OAG's internship program provides students with a challenging experience that provides work in the areas of internship, professional and legal staffing recruitment, hiring orientation, and on-boarding administration, as well as, human resources generalist roles and responsibilities. Interning within the Human Resources Section at OAG is a great experienceWe are looking for an HR intern to perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks. You will support the HR department to accomplish a wide range of human resources transactions, including supporting the Human Resources Generalist in posting job ads, updating the HR database, responding to personnel inquiries, and processing employee requests. Ultimately, you will gain a vast HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving all HR functions.Our HR intern position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
