About the team:

As a Scrum Master you will be working with teams responsible for building, releasing and operating products for the business. Take on leadership and coaching responsibilities within sprint teams and the organization. Have a specialization towards driving teams forwards in all aspects of the SDLC, from idea inception right through to release

What you will be doing:

  • The Scrum Master serves the Product Owner in sprint planning and sprint reviews ensuring that value is clearly being described and direction set.
  • They serve the development team in the daily scrum by ensuring that work is progressing and that blockers are being removed.
  • Ensures that every opportunity to improve is made transparent to the scrum team and the retrospective has a clear set of outcomes that can be executed on.
  • Educating and mentoring the teams in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and other Agile methods ensuring that the agreed upon Agile process is being followed to deliver value to customer.
  • Removing impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
  • The Scrum Master also helps the team coordinate with other teams on the Agile Release Train (ART) and communicates status to management as needed.
  • Provide support to the Release Train Engineer (RTE) in ensuring the team meets its objectives and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of projects from initiation through delivery. * May be required to develop project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
  • May be asked to deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to business groups in FIS and/or in client organizations.
  • Supports Product Owners by utilizing collaborative techniques and communication strategies for efficient backlog management.
