Are you the type of person who is always in search of a better way? Do you like working in a dynamic environment? In this role you will implement and sustain a robust EHS management system, utilize proactive scorecards, perform audits, and implement programs to drive performance improvement. We're looking for someone who is strategic, personable, prioritizes tasks well, and displays strong leadership skills.

What You'll Do

1. Lead and coach local EHS staff in the performance of their duties. Monitor individual and team goals and ensure alignment with the organization's strategies and objectives to drive EHS performance improvement. Cultivate a learning environment through team member growth and development.

2. Leads the implementation and sustainment of the EHS management system for a Vermeer manufacturing facility.

3. Coach site operational leaders to be visible EHS advocates.

4. Assists in the development of corporate-level EHS strategy.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety and seven years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist certification preferred.

- Prior experience with EHS Management System approach preferred.

- Advanced knowledge of relevant State and Federal rules and regulations required.

- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
