We at CUNA Mutual are seeking uncommon professional to join our team of professionals as a Customer Operations Process Assistant to:

  • Provide functional support to Customer Operations processes in our Waverly, IA office. This includes Billing Services, Claims, Benefits & Service Processing, and New Business.

  • Forms management duties supporting all of Waverly Customer Operations. Key duties include coordination of service form revisions, development/ordering of new forms, monitoring inventory and coordinating reorders, and ordering forms from inventory.

  • Using the assigned recording tool, document and distribute complaints (verbal and written) according to time requirements.

  • Prepare department/process reports and perform updates to department records as needed. This includes monthly reports as well as ad hoc requests for items such as department rosters, directories, department metrics, distribution lists, staffing models,etc. Assist managers with developing and running reports on various systems.

You must bring to the table . . .

  • 3 - 5 years experience in administrative support roles in business environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills, to include Macros, Pivot tables, V look-ups, advanced formulas, and importing external data from other spreadsheets and databases.

  • Proven skill with office tools, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Access Database

  • Demonstrated solid organizational skills, with attention to detail.

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, handling tasks that are not well defined.

  • Strong decision making and judgment skills, applying general knowledge to specific situations.

  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with individuals at all levels.
